Arrrggghhhh Maties! Welcome onboard to the 2021 Pirates of the Pontchartrain Pirate Festival! This be your opportunity to claim your berth for ye and yer shipmates.

Each Ship will have one booking through a single Sailing Master.  This person will be responsible (I know, responsible pirates?) for maintaining the list of Ship Members camping, and their contact information.

The Sailing Master can be changed as needed by the Ship's Crew, but the Sailing Master MUST agree to the change OR not respond to our attempts to confirm the change.  There must also be a Quartermaster or First Mate designated  for the Ship.  A full list of Shipmates must be supplied to the PoP Campground director.  The cost per person for camping for one week will be $30 per person if you are staying for the first OR second week. It will be $60 per person if you are staying for BOTH weeks.  Powder Monkeys 12 and younger stay for no charge. There is a limited amount of electrical outlets available, these will be $50 per 15 amp outlet per week. Upon request we can give larger service but we MUST know you need it by April 6th so we have time to install it. For 20 amp service it will be $65 per outlet and 30 amp service will be $75  per outlet per week. Generators will be permitted, as long as they are of the Ultra-Quiet type and are approved by the Sailing Master.

There is a minimum of 10 Shipmates for at least one week of the festival to qualify as a Ship Camp.  Each Ship can have three deployments coming in at different times. They are First Weekend (April 7-14), Second Weekend (April 14-21) and Full Run (April 7-21).  If you have 20 Shipmates and only 10 Deployed the First Weekend, and for 6 Deployed the Second Weekend and 4 deployed for the Full Run that is fine! We will work with you to make sure we have the Ships Log updated. The space your Ship will be given is based on the maximum number of Mates here for a weekend.

We encourage you to submit your Ships Log Reservations early.  The Ships Log Reservation can be modified any time prior to Monday April 5th. These modifications can include adding or removing Ship Mates to/from your Log and power requests (if available) or making any other changes to the reservation.

We will require a deposit of at least 25% of your total Ship camping charge by April 6th. The Sailing Master may choose to collect the camping charges and send it to us, or they may choose to have individual people make payments directly to us. If payments are made to us we will make sure the Sailing Master receives information for every payment we receive from your Ship Mates.

Ships will be granted 200 square feet of land per Ship Mate. Leeway will be made for Galleons and Galleys. We will work with your Sailing Master to make sure you have ample space for your Ship Mates in our campground.

Ships may have their own communal fire pit.  Any individual cookpots over open flame must be contained in a metal pit. We will also have firewood for sale at the campground.

If you have any additional questions please email them questions to RenCamp@LARF.org.

There are three date ranges that you can select for your Ship.
1. Full Run which will allow camping from April 7th through April 21st.
2. First Weekend which will allow camping from April 7th through April 14th.
3. Second Weekend which will allow camping from April 14th through April 21st.

We have a limited amount of electric service available in the berthing area. All electric circuits will be 15 amp. We will allow people to use generators in RV's as well as super quiet generators for tents. It will be up to the Sail Master to determine if the generator is quiet enough to use.

Please give us your best guess how many of the following your Ship will need. This is so we have a rough idea of your Ship's size and when they plan to come out.

When you submit this form it will be sent to the Pirates of the Pontchartrain / LARF Camping office. You will receive a reply (normally within a few days) from RenCamp@LARF.ORG to open the discussion on how we can best serve your Krew while you are visiting us.

If you have any questions please email them to RenCamp@LARF.ORG
